Future Perfect Blog

Here another interesting interview with my friends Aswani Srivastava from Future Perfect. He is a good friend and brilliant blogger. He’s not pick a niche for his blog but still his blog is one of my favorite. We talks sometimes on Facebook and he always motivate me to keep improving my blog. OK guys, here the interview with one of my good friend Aswani Srivastava.

1. Please introduce yourself. Where are you from, your daily activities, etc.

Hi friends, I am Aswani , an avid blogger from India.  I love blogging and making friends online. I have been blogging since Nov 2007 and I have really enjoyed it like anything.  It’s been a fabulous experience for me till date.

2. Please tell us a story behind your blog

Story behind my blogging…Hmm…I remember when I was in school, I began to develop an interest in writing. Yes, it began all of a sudden and soon it became a passion for me. I just couldn’t stop writing. Though I was never best with it, I still managed to do well in this area. It was the year 2007 when one of my close friends came to me and suggested me to start a blog. At first, I couldn’t understand it and so I asked him to explain me the whole thing. Once I was explained each and everything, I made sure that I must go for it. Yes from then and that day onwards, I started blogging. Initially it was all fueled by my desire to make some money online and honestly speaking, I made it and the first few dollars filled me with an immense excitement. It motivated me like anything to do well in this area. But unfortunately, it was all very short lived. As time progressed, it became more and more difficult for me. But I didn’t lose hope at any time. Though I understand that blogging is mostly about making money online, I decided to take it otherwise. Now, my blogging is only about expressing myself and share something with the world.

3. What is your Blogging Goal?

No such goal. Want to just keep going and going as long as I am enjoying it ;)

4. Do you plan your blog?

Yes, planning is very important for any blogger. Without any proper planning, you are likely to remain unnoticed in this blogosphere. You really need to plan your blog first… that includes everything from design to the content part. You just cannot keep doing anything and everything.

5. Do you believe Niche Blog is better?

Niche Blogging or Nicheless Blogging…I think it depends finally on one’s perspective. If you have any desire to be a professional blogger and more importantly, for full-time bloggers, it is so very important that you have a niche to blog upon and must stick with it. Niche blogging is much more benefitting than to those who have no niche to blog. I believe when you have a niche to blog, people trust you more with your blogging and thus you have more chance to generate some good traffic and eventually make more money online.

6. Do you make money from your blog?

Yes, I do make money from my blog. But it is nothing. I should rather say it as my luck if I am making any. Being a nicheless blogger, I have never thought of making it big. But still, I am happy with whatever I get in the end. I really enjoy it as I have really worked hard on my blog and these benefits are big plus.

7. Do you have an article on Google SERPs, its natural or with SEO?

There are many such articles. But to be very honest, I do not practice any SEO on my posts except working on the title texts. I am using Google Blogger as a blogging platform and everyone knows the fact – Blogger has a limitation when it comes to SEO. You still can but not as good as what you can do in the wordpress. Anyways, blogger is still my favorite and no issues at all, as long as Google sends me the traffic. Most of the times, it is all organic traffic. And I am pleased to have the same.

8. Do you agree blogging is dead?

Blogging is dead…I think it is total stupid to think or say so. Blogging is alive and it is much more vigorous these days. Reasons being as more and more people are getting aware on it, we can see more and more blogs coming up like anything. This is driven mostly by two important factors – money making online or creating self-space online.  The former being a much bigger factor. Yes, people really want to make money online and therefore they are seeing blogging as one of the best ways to make it happen.

9. What do you think about SEO and Social Media, can they work together to help our blog? How?

SEO and Social Media. Both has its own value. Social Media Marketing is also a part of SEO. We can put it under offpage SEO. I don’t know about others but Social Media has helped me a lot especially facebook . Facebook has been a wonderful platform for me. It is truly one of the best social media sites today. Plus, one more site I must point out is stumbleupon.com. It too has been a great traffic provider to my blog. Not to forget, twitter. Not so effective for me but still it cannot be ignored by any means.

10. How do you promote your blog?

Blog promotion…hmm…to be very honest, I never took it seriously. I just write and leave and with everything being so automated today…it all gets promoted so easily and fast. Still, I go for social media marketing..like Facebook postings, Twitter updates, etc…Social bookmarking at times, mostly stumbleupon.

11. What is your main traffic source?

My main traffic source is the one and only Google. It’s mostly organic traffic. The second biggest traffic provider is stumbleupon and third one is facebook. Fourth one is blogcatalog.com. Rest I get through comments and shoutboxes.

12. Any blogging tips for beginner?

Blogging is fun. Be simple, Be creative, Be original, Be interesting, Be emotional…I bet you will be the best blogger in the world. You don’t need to be a great writer to be a good blogger. You just need to be yourself. The desire to entertain your readers is what is required. Do not run after the money thing. It will come surely. Have patience, learn from fellow bloggers and keep doing your work…That’s it!

13. Any tips for making money online? With or without blog?

Money making tips from me…ehehe…I wish I could. Anyways, go for adsense, write paid reviews, and look for top affiliate programs. The web has a lot of resources on the same. Google it and see. To make money online without blogging looks quite unthinkable. Anyways, it is still possible if you have your own online business. Slowly but surely, you will :)

14. Any favorite blogger? How come?

Favorite blogger…hmm…there are lots many. Difficult choice to make for me. Anyways, I have one very special blogger in my mind. She is P. Reetha, the person behind the hugely successful blog, businessvartha.blogspot.com. It is a blog on blogging tips, money making online tips, etc…

15. Any suggestion a blogger for interview?

Well, again a very difficult question for me.  Still, my suggestion would go for Robert Barry, an outstanding  blogger successaffiliatemarketing.com

16. Any hobby or something not related with blog you want to share? Favorite Band, Movie or something?

Other than blogging, I enjoy listening to music, gaming, reading, eating etc…Eating is what I like the most. I just love to eat anywhere and anytime ;)

Thanks Aswani for the interview. Success for you bro. Guys if you want to connect with Aswani you can find him @ Facebook and @ Twitter.

  2. This is a fine interview!! Aswani here has answered one of my biggest doubts, well I feel that he is one of the only bloggers I know who concentrates more on the user experience rather than monetization, if he really wants he can put more banners and almost double his earnings. He deserves this!!
