Whatever your blogging goal, I’m sure that you need visitors or readers. You need people to visit and read your blog. For a brand new blog, blog promotion is very crucial. We need to use all the resources to improve our blog including Blog Submission to Blog Directories.
Blog Submission to Search Engines, Social Bookmark, Social Network and Blog Directories are important Blog Promotion campaign that we really need. Some bloggers said blog directories not give us big impact to our blog because blog directories just a place where people put they blog and then leave, go to anywhere.
Why We Need To Submit Our Blog To Blog Directories?
Blog Directories is a blog with list of blog with categories. Blog submission to blog directories may be will be a boring activities 
but still we need to do it to get every chance people visit our blog and get new readers.
There are so many blog directories in the net. We need to choose Blog Directories to get maximum benefits. We need to check, at least the Page Rank from the directories. Higher Page Rank will give us more benefits.
Every time we submit our blog to blog directories that’s mean we put our link to the blog directories, so we will get more links from the blog directories. If the blog directories have good Page Rank, that’s mean we get links from high Page Rank Sites. Sounds good isn’t it?
There are two main reasons, in my opinion, what Blog Directories submission is important.
- Promotion. We need to promote our blog every where.
- Link Building. Blog Directories Submission is part of our link building campaign. We need more links from other sites/blogs. The higher Page Rank from the blog directories are better. We need links from high Page Rank Sites
Blog Directories Submission is will give us benefits if you doing it natural, manual submission is very crucial. Even if you using third party services for you blog or website please ask them if blog submission is manual or not.

Traffic is very important for bloggers but submission to blog directories should be done manually and we should not use any software for the same .

Agree with you and we must work hard to get the best result and directories submission is one of the important place for blogger to promote their blog.
This is a must do thing that every start up blogs. After their first few post have launched, then submitting it in some directories is necessary.
But indeed, this submission thing is boring but I suggest that you submit your blog first in some major search engine.
After that, find some websites that offer free all-in-one submission. I found some of the information from Digital Points Forum.
So, ask some help there and get started.

I don’t want rely on submission service bro, they send our blog at the same time and suddenly our links grow up instantly and Google not like that kind improvement. I love do it manually even its a boring activities
I was surprise when I arrived at a blog which had only 18 posts on earning adsense money. The blog had such limited posts, but ranked 3 in Google pagerank. I found that the site had been submitted to more than 20 blog directories (knowing this from the tracking banner on the site).
So, I think submitting a blog/website to blog directories is really necessary in getting higher pagerank, especially those blog directories with high pagerank (more than 3).
