Another Blogger Breaks 100K Alexa Rank
Alexa rank is still debatable around the blogoshpere, is it one important factor of a blog or not? Alexa rank is one of the tool to show your traffic. Small numbers means you have a lots of traffic. Getting small numbers for Alexa rank is one of my goal with this blog and now my Alexa rank is down to under 100K!
Page Rank and Alexa Rank.
Page Rank just up dated by Google, Page Rank up date few times a year. Page Rank is the way Google appreciate our work on build a blog especially in link building.
Alexa Rank up date everyday, regarding with your daily traffic. An active blog sure will have a good Alexa Rank. One post every day is enough to increase you alexa rank.
Ranks and Blog
I’ve seen so many blog with good Page Rank but less traffic because they have high numbers of Alexa Rank. Ideally, a blog have good Page Rank and Alexa Rank. Good combination.
Why I’m still interesting with Page Rank And Alexa Rank?
Page Rank and Alexa Ranks are tool that advertiser used for a blog. Making money blogging absolutely need High Page Rank and Low Alexa Rank. Paid blogging sites using these two factors to approve your blog, high Page Rank and Low Alexa Rank.
So I’ll still interesting with Page Rank and Alexa Rank because the advertiser still using two of them as the main factors to approve a blog for join they network.
Lucky me I have few good friends that always support my blogging journey, because I’m not work alone with this blog, you all guys is an important part for my Alexa Rank. Thanks guys

Brilliant achievement there Latief. Keep it up. I reckon Alexa is not accurate on ranking, i notice your rank goes up only when your visitors have alexa tool bar installed. However we can’t ignore alexa, since it is also important..

Yeah, Alexa is notoriously inaccurate, mainly because only a select number of people have the toolbar installed, so the numbers are skewed towards particular subjects

In my opinion those Alexa rankings are not of such great importance, although keeping them under 100,000 is not a bad thing. High page ranks are definitely what matters the most.

In my opinion, Google Page Rank and Alexa Rank both are good tools for us to keep monitoring our blog progress.
Congratulations! I’ve been following this blog for a month or two now and it’s great to see you cross that line. It’s a little earlier in my blogs life, but I have high hopes to reach the 100k mark in the next few months.
I don’t think Alexa ranks are a great way to rank yourself against every site out there, some categories are going to have a higher percentage of readers with the toolbar fitted.
That said, I do think it makes a great tracking tool for your own site. I have seen my site come down from 3 million to 660k, that is a great feeling, it let’s you know that you are still heading in the right direction. So for that reason, I do think Alexa is a fantastic way to track your progress… Just take it with a pinch of salt.
100k is a fantastic achievement either way though.

Alexa rank definitely does matter. It is a sign that you get a lot of traffic to your blog. The more traffic your blog gets, the more the site is worth. It also makes advertising on your site more valuable, especially if that traffic is targeted.

Agree with you Kathy, even some people said Alexa Rank is bias because it was count from PC with Alexa toolbar installed but I think Alexa still one the importing factor for our blog
Congrats on breaking the 100k mark and to echo some other commenters, get an Alexa widget on your site, it helps track the visits better so Alexa is more accurate. Your rank will go down very quickly if you put Alexa badge up and I went to less than 60K alexa within 3 weeks of putting the badge up while still having the same traffic.

Well congrats Latief, but can I ask: do you find that the Alexa Rank is accurate? With a tech orientated blog are you more likely to get visitors who use the alexa toolbar?
