Few weeks a go, this blog breaks 100k of Alexa Rank for the first time. I’m happy with the result. Thanks to all my supporting friends for this achievement. I can’t write your names here guys, but I really appreciate your support. This time I want to share how I get this level of Alexa Rank. How I breaks 100k of Alexa Rank? Small number is better with Alexa Rank.
I want to share simple blogging tips to get your blog breaks 100k too. Here the list guys 
- Sign Up for Alexa Account and put your blog at their data base.
- Put Alexa Badge on your blog and Install Alexa toolbar on your browser.
- Create contents, at least one article per day, few blogger believe one article will decrease you Alexa Rank about 1k, so if you post two articles you will decrease your Alexa Rank 2k
- Alexa Review. Ask your friend to review your blog on Alexa, some blogger said this is nothing to do with Alexa Rank, but in my experiences review is the powerful tool to boost my Alexa Rank, better than publish an article a day
- Talking about Alexa on your blog, share your experiences how you gets your great Alexa Rank and hope people find your blog through search engine.
That’s all the simple blogging tips to decrease your Alexa Rank, its pretty simple and everyone can do all things I said above. Alexa Rank is still debatable, some said its not important factor for a blog and the traffic is bias because Alexa’s algorithm, but for me Alexa give a motivation to keep creating articles to decrease the rank. In fact few advertiser still using Alexa Rank as a factor to rank a blog in their system.

Anyways, i don’t know why people still care about alexa’s ranks, it is absolutely not accurate.
I installed alexa widget and my rank goes down about 2K everyday..lol

Do you have Alexa Badge on your blog? Please read Dana’s comment, fellow blogger usually have Alexa Toolbar on their browser. Maybe you need more promotion on a blogger community and being active there sister.

I have the widget, it is in my footer. And my alexa ranks is 100.588. I guess it is not bad, and it will be less and less everyday.

Yes, I’m not really care about Alexa Rank too Kimi, but since Alexa Rank is one of tool for traffic we need to keep optimizing it and all Ranks, Page Rank or Alexa Rank are good for motivate blogger to become better blogger, that is all about
I didn’t knew that posting article is so important for Alexa rankings. Thanks for shedding light on that one. On the other hand in my opinion reviews aren’t playing a key role and are not a decisive factor.

Tips from me, try to get traffic from fellow bloggers as many as possible since bloggers usually install the Alexa toolbar in their web browser.

Yes, installing Alexa toolbar will help to lower Alexa rankings and if your traffic includes lots of people with the toolbar, your ranking can really go down.

Great blog post Latief! I can see how, the more often you blog, the lower (better) your Alexa ranking becomes. If you think about it, the more content you publish, the more both your subscribed readers as well as Google and other searches find your content. Latief, Thanks for tips. Long ago i came across a tool which was able to help improving alexa. Don’t remember exactly. Anyway, Alexa isn’t such reliable. I have two sites, one has pageviews/UVs far more than another and still i can see alexa is quite higher for second site.
Alexa is not that accurate but I still use it since few advertising Alexa Rank as one of the requirement bro. Thanks Joel.

These tips will probably work but you shouldn’t put a lot of weight on your Alexa ranking. It really doesn’t mean a whole lot in the end.
