How To Get Follower?
A friend ask me about my follower. How this blog have follower? Did I do campaign to get follower? I don’t realize this until he asked me. Then I checked my follower widget, yes! it’s over a hundreds follower 
Thanks for following me guys. That’s means a lot to me.
I have all that follower without any campaign at all or asking people around to follow me. Just like me, I’m sure all my friend joined my Google Friend Connect because they find something useful in this blog

This is how I have a lots of friend on Google Friend Connect. I choose to call them friends rather then called them follower
Make your readers your friend. A friend never leave you alone, they will keep coming back to your blog.

Hi Another Blogger, you are so right. I learned that myself by asking you follow me and I'll follow you, but anymore I just concentrate on promoting the blog, networking all I can, and that seems to attract followers. I also often start following a blog that looks interesting, and if they follow my blog too, that's great. If not, I don't worry about it. And something I think is also very important is to actually visit the blogs that you follow and give them some feedback/comments. That in itself often peaks interest in just who you are, and other bloggers can click on your profile and get to your blog from there.Looking forward to your next post! ~ John

My most successful way to get followers was creating my blog roll, which gives everybody the initiative to keep their blogs up to date if they want to advertise on my blog. The other thing is my rule, the only way I will advertise your blog is if you are following me back. This increased my followers fast. In the blogcatalog forum joining the "get your followers here" type groups works great. The thing about it though, if you just follow a blog, they do not always follow you back. If you follow a blog and leave a comment, they 98% of the time usually follow you within the next hour at the least from the time you left the comment on their blog.

What about subscribers?
Personally I’m getting more and more “wordpress” users by using the “subsrcibeme” plugin, but still I don’t know what I’m doing to make them subscribe, aside from publishing content they seem to like… Right now, they are about 300, which is a pretty good number, I think.
I came across a way to exploit this feature and I found some plugins like “post-notification” and “send it” which allow you to communicate with them and transform them in a sort of list you can “market” to.
Anyway, it’s a soft marketing, I would say:
-send them a mail notifying a new post.
- inform them about special promotion inside the blog
- … for you to choose.
I would love to know about someone else working with this “users” list.
