How To Increase Your Page Views?

I found something interesting while I’m Monitoring My Blog through Google Analytics and Site Meter. It’s about my page views. My page views still low and this is bothering me. So I asked my self, what should I do to increase my page views? I try to find the answer, and the mean time I keep blogging as usual.

Why I think this is important? Because I don’t want visitors just read one post and go somewhere else. I want to keep my readers, my friends to read another article after read one article and then read another one. I want to keep them in my blog.

To increase my page view, I made several changes to keep my visitors to stay longer in my blog and read other post after read one. You can read at Blog Makeover and it’s works for me, after that changes I found my page views increase, even not to dramatically, that’s OK, I love something natural. I believe with more articles, page views will increase too.

1. I put TOP POST after my blog’s header. This is a list of contents that visitors likes to read. I get the informations trough Google Analytics.
2. I also put Recent Post widget and Blog Archive on my side bar. I want my friends to search around this blog.
3. Put my Related Posts. Hoping my visitors find something interesting related the article that he/she just read. This related post refer my visitors to other posts that may be attract them.
4. I made Internal Links that links to my others post. Internal links will lead my visitors to other related post.
5. I try to made serial article that encourage visitors to read all the articles.
6. I put my related post url when commenting others blog that have same topic or relevant topic and hope the owners and their readers will visit mine.
7. Keep posting in regular base and stay on my niche. This make more related post on my blog

I hope this tips will increase our blog’s page views and if you have your own tips, please let me know. I’ve learn that there’s something more than just posting regular and they are separated, or individual post. More page views means more revenue if you using ad program on your blog. The advertiser will happy if you have a great numbers of page views.
