Interview With Shabnam Sultan From Techiezlounge
Never Give Up! she said, that is one of Shabnam’s tips for beginners. Yes I agree with her, blogging is long term commitment with so many things to do. Well planning will give us more chance to success with blogging.
This is another interview with my blogger friend, Shabnam Sultan. She decided to blog with WordPress a while a go. For your information I met her at BlogCatalog and now we become online friend, connected through few social networking. Enjoy the interview guys.
1. Please introduce yourself. Where are you from, your daily activities, etc.
Hey friends, I am Shabnam a passionate blogger and a social media addict from India. I blog at Techiezlounge.Com and Astronomy .
2. Please tell us a story behind your blog
Blogging happened to me by chance in 2008 and soon became my passion……. I enjoy writing.
3. What is your Blogging Goal?
My blogging goal is to write good articles, connect to other bloggers within my niche, to have a good reader base and to enjoy my blogging.
4. Do you plan your blog?
Yeah, planning is very essential for any business and so also for blogging. You need to decide about the design, topic, content and keyword research.
5. Do you believe Niche Blog is better?
If you want to monetize your blog then niche blogging is better as you get advertisers and you can also sell affiliate products in your blog.
6. Do you make money from your blog?
I have made some money from my blog through Adsense , Text link Ads and blog sponsorship .
7. Do you have an article on Google SERPs, its natural or with SEO?
Yes, I have articles on Google SERP I try to make my post titles SEO friendly .
8. Do you agree blogging is dead?
Blogging is very much alive as we find new bloggers coming up . Now a days more and more companies are also using blogs to promote about their business plans.
9. What do you think about SEO and Social Media, can they work together to help our blog? How?
Both have their own place . Social media sites like Facebook and Twitter has been a good source of traffic for my blog.
10. Any SEO Tips for my beginners Friend?
SEO is for long term use and should be done correctly and efficiently.
11. How blogger should dealing with Social Media? Few of my friends said Social Media just wasting time.
Social media is a buzz word these days and should be used effectively. I like Facebook and Twitter as i get some good traffic from there and Facebook has helped me a lot in networking with other bloggers.
12. I heard that you started a new blog with WordPress. Any Opinion about WordPress and Blogger?
I think WordPress is the best blogging platform if you are serious about blogging and i am happy that i started my first WordPress blog being inspired by you, which is doing well .
13. How do you promote your blog?
I haven’t done much of blog promotion ….. I try to write good articles, use social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter and bookmarking sites like StumbleUpon and delicious at times.
14. What is your main traffic source?
My new WordPress blog gets traffic from subscribers, referring sites, social media and Google.
15. Any blogging tips for beginner? The most important things beginners should consider about before start they blogging journey.
For Beginners I would say that be passionate about your work , enjoy it and NEVER GIVE UP as blogging requires a lot of patience and perseverance.
16. Any tips for making money online? With or without blog?
Making money online….. have a niche blog , get advertisers for your blog and sell affiliate products related to your niche. Though I have not yet made money as an affiliate marketer but it has got lot of potential.
17. Any favorite blogger? How come?
Favorite bloggers …. Would be Gary , Aswani and you Latief. I have known you all since the start of my blogging journey and all have come a long way.
18. Any suggestion a blogger for interview?
My suggestion will be Gary  Lawood aka Lawmacs. He is a fantastic blogger , quite supportive to other bloggers and a good human being. His blog gives useful info about SEO and web designing to beginners and advanced.
19. Any hobby or something not related with blog you want to share? Favorite Band, Movie or something?
I enjoy watching movies, listening to music and reading books. My fav movie is Gladiator and I enjoy listening to songs of My all time fav Bryan Adams and MLTR.
