Keep Visitors On Our Blog
It’s about 3 minutes visitors stay in your blog, some time less than 3 minutes. I think we all want to our visitors to stay longer in our blog? No matter what blogger type you are, writing personal diary, writing to promote your company or business or even blogging for money, you must be work hard to attract your visitors to stay as long as possible without pushing them to stay. What is that mean? It’s mean our blog must meet the visitors expectations.
I think we all want our readers came to search something and when they find it on our blog they discover more our blog because he/she still need more information and our blog have it. So what should we do to keep our visitors stay longer?
Here some tips that may we do to our blog :
- Create Recommended Posts or Top Posts. You can promote your articles to the new visitors, this is a great way to let your visitors discover your blog.
- Create serial article. If you have a great idea to write a new article and when you write your draft and then you find that it’ll be a long article, please divide it to a few shorts article. Serial article is better than a long article. No one likes a long article in the internet, they are most likely reading article which is short, simple and to the point.
- Complete Blog. Make sure you built you blog completely, include great theme, great navigations, don’t leave your blog under constructions.
- Gift for your visitors. Give away something to your visitors. Documents, mp3 or anything else to download.
- Ask reader to share your contents. This day theres some popular way to share your articles.
- Create Related Post. Related post will lead your readers to visit another article in the same topic, that way I suggest you to create serial post rather than a long post.
- Make sure everything OK
Ideally is your blog already have quality traffic and some visitors already get the “soul” of your blog. If it’s happen, surely you don’t have to worry about time visit anymore. OK, guys lets start keep our readers on our blog and provide the with what they want.

Nice tips……. i try to follow most of them. But i need to add Recommended posts to my blog.
Videos are the best to get people to stay on your blog longer. The more interesting the video, the better the visit. Feedburner is pretty good also, especially when you setup a podcast. That way you can get visitors through Itunes and Iphones
