Keyword Research : The Practice

The last post I’m talking about how to made our blog SEO friendly to get our a better rank. I mentioned about keywords too. Now I want to ask you to play with keyword or keyword phrase. Remember, SEO is always about keywords. We will do a little keywords practice here. I’m not the expert but let me ask you to join this fun game. So we can be expert together. The expert of Keyword Research. OK lets start our game. Lets star our keyword research.

If this is your first time visiting my blog, I’ll let you know that I have a few articles on the first page Google SERP, but the article won’t stand there forever. Because few factors that article now not at the first page anymore. It’s OK with me, because the competitors are the big guy with all power that they can get. Great design, great resource and money to promote their site or hiring an SEO company. Me? Just another blogger who love to sharing with my friends

OK, lets start our game. I had posted few articles talking about sitemap. Lets say we want to create an article that talking about sitemap. We will divide keyword game to three group. Broad, Focus, Less Focus.

For the first group: Sitemap. Broad. I don’t think we can win the battle out there. Its generic but to many competitors. Yes it have a tons of traffic.

For the second group: Create a Sitemap. Less Generic and Less competitors. High traffic. Still no chance to win if we are a newbie. Remember, new blog don’t stand a chance to win battle with the old one.

For the third Group: Why a Sitemap is important?. Its a long tail keyword. Now we have a chance to win the battle. Yes its small traffic but less competitors too. Why? Because the big guys, I’m sure already create the article with title like on the next list.

• Sitemap for blogger.
• How to create a sitemap for blogger.
• How to submit a sitemap.
• What is a sitemap?
• You can add more with your keywords. Just figure it out.

Or you can use your own keyword related to your blog. Take your time. Just relax. Make a cup of coffee and listening your favorite song and start your keyword practice.

I’m sure we can not put all our articles on the first page of Google SERP. One or two articles on the first page of Google SERP is great. It will be a great promotion and great traffic source to our blog.

I bet you will be the happiest blogger on earth when you find your article on the firs page of Google SERP. I’m not talking nonsense here. Today, I have an article on the first page Google SERP.
