I’m sure we all have a killer article in the past. An article that have lots of comments and stay in the Google SERP until today. Article like this bring more visitors on our blogs. Yes the old articles, old links, need a refreshment to get search engines keep their attention. Refresh our old links will give us more advantages in front of the search engine.


Why Refreshing Old Links Is Important?


We know that create links on our blog is important as a part our link building strategies. We can use our own article to create links, using anchor text to lead our visitors to visit our old articles and the same time we refresh the old links and increase our page view. Nice isn’t it?


How To Refresh Your Old Links?


This is an interesting question. I know we can refresh our old links just like that, we must make it interesting and our visitors don’t realize it when they click the links. I suggest you to create a similar article or related article to your old links.

Your article is totally new but in the article you mention about your old articles (old links), refer your readers to read your old killer articles. Its easy isn’t it? The hard part is how to get a new article idea that similar or related with your old article, but I’m sure you can do that :)

  4. great post Latief. Deep linking to older posts is a good way of “reviving” your old articles, specially if they are information which are still valid today. This is why I always recommend to create articles that can be as “pillars” for your blog. Keep them coming

  6. This is great advice. I do this sometimes, but not nearly as often as I should. I have also found that when I update an old post with 2 or three lines of new information on the topic that it starts to show higher in my rankings. When we spend all that time building links to the original post it is important to make those links fresh with a new incoming link.
