Getting More Traffic From Facebook
Facebook is already become an internet giant and made few change of the internet trend. Social Networking become another way people enjoy the internet. Facebook have millions members and still growing. With millions member around the world we, as blogger, need to take advantages from this phenomena. Getting more traffic from Facebook is one of them. There always pro and contra about Facebook, especially about privacy option, but I’m not talking about that this time.
How To Get More Traffic From Facebook?
There are few ways to get more traffic from Facebook. Enjoying to get socialize and gets traffic is fun isn’t it?
- Status. With your Status you can put your link every time you publish an article and mention it on your profile page, I always did this
- ShareCount For Facebook. I’m sure you’ve seen this button around the blogoshpere. You can share your article from this button from your article direct to your profile page on your Facebook account. You will see numbers of article shared on Facebbok with this button. You can download ShareCount For Facebook for your WordPress blog.
- Fan Page. Create a Facebook Fan Page for your blog, now change to Like page. With this Like Page you can send your articles to your page’s member. This page is another way to engage with your readers and friends from Facebook.
- Put Like Button to your articles, its like share Count Facebook Button but its count numbers of people like your article from Facebook. You can download Facebook Like Button for your WordPress Blog.
- Create A Group. You can create a group on Facebook and invite people with the same interest or the same niche with your blog and then invite all your connection to your group. You can send message to all your group members to get more traffic
- Send Message. This is the easiest way to get traffic to your blog if you have time to send message to your friend on Facebook.
I’m sure my list are just part of taking advantages from Facebook for getting more traffic, since Facebook is an internet Giant now. So as long as Facebook growing and still live we must follow it to use it to promote our blog. Are you agree with me? Or you want to share your experiences with Facebook?

Latief.. great tips.. Like anything else.. first you have to give your readers ways to connect and share, then just engage engage engage man.
As far as a group.. not a fan of those.. seems to just come with alot spamming.
I think a fan page will do the same and easier to share and get people to participate.

One must send a message to your fans only sparingly, otherwise it seems like spam and they drop off your fan page. I have left pages that messaged me too often.

Another great advice. I believe that all this will genuinely provide someone with more exposure while at the same time building credibility and trust. Can’t live without those two factors nowadays. Using FB to achieve this purpose is definitely one way to go.

Latif, Nice tips. However, one need to have many friends or followers for getting facebook traffic. Another important thing is, conversion. I have no idea how good conversions will be from facebook traffic.

Facebook traffic has very high bounce rate.. People use facebook for entertainment so when they visit techie website they leave immediately…
we must have a good Fanpage base for our blog to get more traffic from it….
It is human nature to share articles which is already recommended by a few people before them.. So if you have a good facebook share count you will get more shares and infact more traffic to your site!!

Although there definitely are some nice tips, if you overdo some of those, you might get your profile looking quite spammy. It may be just me though, but I believe that keeping a good balance is the most important.
