Why We Need A Blogging Plan?
Blogging is fun, if you can make money for doing the thing you love its great. Created a blog is easy like 1 2 3 and done! Creating contents is not that hard even you are not born as a writer. Why some of blogger failed to manage their blog? Blogging is long term commitment, wasting time, so many effort, etc.
Why We Need A Blogging Plan?
I’m sure you don’t want to fail with your blog whatever your blogging goal. Sharing, get famous or making money. Whatever your blogging goal, you need to maintain your blog.
I try to create a list for some activities on our blogging journey. The list are major activities that we need to plan very well.
- Contents. We need to create useful contents for our blog so our readers will find that our blog is helpful and they will coming back to our blog. We need a plan when to create content and when to publish them.
- Promotions. Promotions is very crucial activity if you want your blog to get attention on the blogoshpere.
- Link Building. Links are important for our blog rank, build your links one step at time. Lets your link building goes natural because if Google suddenly find you have so many links, Google will penalize your blog.
- Get Socialized. Join popular social network and start build your network. This part will be a wasting time if you can’t enjoy the network.
Doing all the points above will make a busy blogger. With a good plan you will get the maximum result. I can give you any example here because only you who knows your daily activities.
Stick with your plan and make improvement everyday will bring you getting closer to your goal. No perfect plan, so try to improve your plan everyday, with good evaluation I’m sure to reach your goal is not that hard if I can’t say it will be easy. Blogging plan will guide you to your blogging goal. Enjoy your blogging!

You know Latief I’ve never really made a blogging plan. I’m always blogging and blogging but I never thought about putting together a plan. I was just at Robert Bravery’s blog reading an article he wrote about writing a list to help you get things done. I think between your advice on writing a plan and his idea of writing a to do list things could really work out.
Blogging is pretty hard at time but so far I have managed ok. but again I have blog engage to thank for that. I got to see how everyone else blogs so it came to me a little easier than maybe some others.

The first one is really tough, making contents for blogging. But it is must for for us. We have to stand like a Professional in every writing. No copy paste is allowed. It will degrade our Ranks.

having a blog plan is very important. my blog only took off when i wrote down a blogging plan and stuck to it…

Is there any such thing as a blog manager? a piece of really cool software that could take my 30 blogs, schedule things like postings, link building tasks, commenting, SEO. give me stats on charts that are easy to read and that would make suggestions for tweaking like a Zemanta. Then interface it with Google analytic s for reports.
That would be my plan if only I was a developer, sigh!

Blogging plans should always be flexible and not seem like a chore. In the past 7 years, I have seen a lot of sites fade away because the blogger got burnt out on publishing. It began with missing a few days, then posting a couple times a month… making excuses, and then nothing at all.
I talk about this a lot because blogging should be something people look forward to and take a lot of pride in. You are correct though… a plan is a good start.

Yeah bro agree with bro, Planning does play an important role in blogging.. I don’t know why newbies don’t understand this thing. They don’t handle their blog as a business and do whatever they like to do and because of that finally end up!
Yes, having our own domain is a great start.
I do have a plan and my goal for this year is simply to help other bloggers. I think it creates good karma and in the long run will help boost my credibility. That makes it a win-win situation. Unlike page rank or Alexa rank it’s not that easy to measure this, until someone says “thank you” or “great screencast”. That’s what makes me a “successful blogger”. Without proper blog planning, it is hard for bloggers to stay on track because you may know there a trillion cause of distraction out there.

Planning is really one of the factors in blogging success. Because it will guide you to the right path and make the time shorter because of the routine.
It also serves as a guide to avoid any confusions and distractions to do other things.
